Programmes are written from source standards — IMO resolutions, published industry guidance and operational experience — not adapted from a third party's material. Each carries module assessments and a completion record.
Twelve modules covering stability fundamentals, ballast systems and control, watertight integrity, damage stability, marine operating limits and emergency response for mobile offshore drilling units. Structured to IMO Resolution A.1079(28).
Short micro-courses for practising marine and DP personnel — single-topic, completed in a sitting, issued with a dated completion record suitable for a personal development file.
Operating under GNSS interference, jamming, spoofing and cyber compromise of position reference and marine control systems — the fallback skills that current guidance assumes but does not teach.
Delivery
The same authored content, licensed on the terms that suit how your organisation actually trains.
A single seat on the hosted learning platform. Modules, knowledge checks and a completion record, available for the licence period from any device.
Self-paced theory completed before attendance, followed by simulator or in-person assessment days at an accredited centre. Arranged case by case.
The course delivered as SCORM 1.2 packages dispatched into your existing learning management system, so completion data stays inside your own competence records.

The Principal
SeaDPtech is the practice of Martin Price, a First Officer and Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator with more than twenty years in offshore maritime, subsea construction and drilling operations, preceded by eleven years in the Royal Australian Navy including submarine service.
He instructs ballast control and stability on simulators for offshore operators, and authors the underpinning course material himself. The training sold here is written from source standards and operational practice — the same reasoning applied on watch, set out so it can be taught, assessed and audited.
Engagements are accepted directly and delivered personally. Where a task falls outside that scope, SeaDPtech says so.
Tell us the unit type, the number of personnel and the standard you are training to, and you will get a scoped written quotation — not a price list.
